Vaccine for Employee Groups

Request a free vaccination event at your site!  San Joaquin County Public Health Services has substantial quantities of the Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson vaccines available and has started an outreach vaccination program.   See the Ag Community Outreach Flyer for information.
 
Companies or foremen can contact Kaiser to get employee groups (e.g, Qty. 25) vaccinated. Kaiser Contact: Marie Sanchez, Manager, Mobile (209) 556-2139.
 
FELS can help you secure appointments with Blue Shield of California to have your employees receive COVID-19 vaccines.  Please email us give us the following information:
  • Company/Employer Name
  • Contact Person with phone # and email address
  • Address (Street, City, State, Zip)
  • # of employees who need vaccination
FELS will compile your information and partner with you and Blue Shield to help arrange appointments for your employees to receive the vaccination. If you have questions, please email us at fels@fels.net or call 800-753-9073.
 

COVID testing locations

Testing locations are listed at https://sjready.org/events/covid19/testing.html. People can schedule appointments or walkup. There is a possibility to have a team go to a farm if they have 150 or more people also.

 

Housing for the Harvest

H4H Eligibility: You must be a farmworker or food processing work who has COVID-19 or has been exposed to someone who has COVID-19. 
H4H Expanded Services. The benefits/services for those eligible for the program have been expanded to include the following (this information is also included on the attached flyer for sharing):
  • Free hotel room for up to 14 days (participants may also quarantine at home– this is new)
  • Participants may qualify for up to $750 in financial assistance if they quarantine at the hotel, or up to $500 if they quarantine at home
  • Free meals
  • Free transportation
  • Free wellness checks
  • Free laundry service
  • COVID-19 testingH4H

San Joaquin Farm Bureau Office

The SJFB office will be closed until further notice.

  • All staff will be available via email and phone . Please be patient as staff will continue to be there working for agriculture.

  • We can schedule an appointment if you need labor law posters/booklets or signs, masks, and gun calendars from our office.

San Joaquin Ag Commissioner’s Office

The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office a supply of surgical and N-95 face masks from the California Department of Food and Agriculture.  

All essential Ag services will be available in the Stockton office at 2101 East Earhart Avenue, Suite 100 Stockton, CA 95206, stocktonag2@sjgov.org , or (209)953-6000.

  • KN-95 masks may not be used as a N-95 respirator substitute when handling pesticides.
 
Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP)

The CFAP Call Center is available for producers who would like additional one-on-one support with the CFAP application process. Please call 877-508-8364 to speak directly with a USDA employee ready to offer assistance.
